The Nights of Seokyo we’re in the SuperKpop studio for Music Stage with DJ Sam. The Nights of Seogyo (서교동의 밤) debuted in 2016 under Mun Hwa In (문화인).

– They worked through the Lunar New year holiday, instead of taking a rest like most people in Korea.
– The members all have letters (A, B, D, E) that describe their personalities.
– ‘City Girl City Boy’ represents when they thought that maybe city pop would be a good genre to explore rather than sticking strictly with ballads.
– Dawon was originally just meant to be a one time collaborator, but they liked working together so much they kept making music together, and now she’s an official member of the group.
– ‘Sense’ originally is full of electronic sounds, but they played the acoustic version on the show.

Q: What is the meaning behind your team name?
A: Seokyo-dong is a place where a lot of musicians get together. Seokyo-dong is the place where they have their studio and spend a lot of time.
Q: Plans for the year?
A: Their solo concert is March 16th.

– Yeonjung recently became adult age in Korea, but she doesn’t feel as though she is an adult yet. She still has trouble remembering that she is in her 20s.
– This comeback split the girls into units. The freshman unit are the deliver the dream. The sophomore unit carry the dream. The juniors get the dream.
– If they could eat without worrying about gaining weight they would eat kimbap, Ice-cream, Chinese food, meat, eggs.
– The queen of photo posing is Mei Qi.
– According to the members Yeonjung is almost ways eating something.
– Dawon makes whiny noises and talks in her sleep. Yeoreum also talks in her sleep.
– If Exy likes a song she’ll play it repeatedly until she gets sick of it. She tends to be the DJ in the car.
– The members say there is no quiet member, but Dawon is the quietest of them all.

Q: What has changed between your debut and now?
A: One thing that has changed since there debut is that they have learned how to look at the little red light on cameras prettier.

Q: What is ‘Hole in one’ about?
A: ‘Hole in One’ is a bright bubbly hiphop track about a guy chasing a girl and falling in love.
Q: What has been the most difficult thing being a group of 12?
A: When the stages isn’t big enough for them to be on. The members in the back are either standing still doing the choreography, or hitting each other moving around.
Q: What frustrates you the most when cleaning?
A: Bullet – cleaning chairs is very bothersome. He cleans one chair, and another dirty chair will pop up. They are usually covered in clean clothes, dirty clothes, and that one missing sock his been looking for for months.

SF9 (Sensational Feeling 9) was in the SoundK studio for You Who Came From The Stars with DJ Leah. SF9 (에스에프나인) is a boy band that debuted in 2016 under FNC Entertainment.
